2016 Swedish AeroPress Championship

Long standing friends and supporters of the AeroPress Championship are the legends at Koppi; Charlie Geo and Anne Coconut. They’ve been along for the ride from day one – Anne has competed a few times and Charles was one of the very first international judges all the way back in Oslo in 1987, the first year of the AeroPress Championship.

Brian of Dear Coffee, I Love You but I’m Not That Into You Anymore was the creative genius behind the WAC logo and this year’s ACME cupping bowls. He’s also been the Swedish AeroPress Championship organiser for the past 3 years – even though he’s American, reluctantly living in Sweden.

The selection of judges this year are second to none. Jeff Verellen, who has won the World AeroPress Championships an impressive 7 times is more than qualified to pass judgement. Frenchman, Nicholas Clerc of Telescope Coffee in Paris will be there to inspect the Swedes attempts at croissant making and finally Klaus Thomsen, who has recently been hired as a junior barista at The Coffee Collective is the final judge.
